James Woolley Biography
James Joseph Woolley (September 26, 1966 – August 14, 2016) was an American keyboard and synthesizer player. He gained recognition for his performances with industrial rock band Nine Inch Nails during the 1991 Lollapalooza Tour, Downward Spiral, and the 1994 Self Destruct Tour. Woolley appeared in the music videos for 'Wish' and 'March of the Pigs' and was featured in the Nine Inch Nails release 'Closure' (1997). He won a Grammy Award in 1995 for 'Best Metal Performance' for the Woodstock performance of 'Happiness in Slavery'. Prior to Nine Inch Nails, Woolley collaborated with Die Warzau and contributed to Sister Machine Gun's album 'The Torture Technique'. He also made contributions to Die Warzau's albums, notably 'Convenience' (2005). Woolley toured with Rob Halford's band 2wo in 1998.
