    Jamie Moyer (born November 18, 1962) is an American former professional baseball pitcher. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for 25 years, pitching for several teams including the Chicago Cubs, Texas Rangers, St. Louis Cardinals, Baltimore Orioles, Boston Red Sox, Seattle Mariners, Philadelphia Phillies, and Colorado Rockies. Moyer holds the records for most wins, losses, and strikeouts by any active MLB pitcher at the time of his retirement. He is known for his long career and relatively old age upon retirement, often compared to Phil Niekro. Moyer made the All-Star team in 2003 and has been recognized for his philanthropy and community service.
