Janet Kay Bogle (born January 17, 1958) is an English actress and vocalist. She gained recognition for her 1979 lovers rock hit 'Silly Games'. Born in Willesden, North West London, Kay was discovered by Tony 'Gad' Robinson, the keyboardist from Aswad, while singing impromptu at a rehearsal studio. She was recommended to Alton Ellis, a Jamaican-born rocksteady vocalist, who was looking for a female vocalist to record a reggae cover of Minnie Riperton's 'Lovin' You'. Kay's single 'Silly Games', written and produced by Dennis Bovell, reached No. 2 in the UK Singles Chart. She also appeared on the UK sitcom No Problem!, playing the character Angel.
