Janine Duvitski Biography
Janine Duvitski (born Christine Janine Drzewicki on 28 June 1952) is a British actress known for her roles in the BBC sitcoms Waiting for God, One Foot in the Grave, and Benidorm. She gained national attention for her performance in the play Abigail's Party, directed by Mike Leigh in 1977. Duvitski, born in Nottingham to a Polish father and English mother, attended Nottingham Girls' High School and trained at East 15 Acting School in Essex. She has four children with her actor husband Paul Bentall. Duvitski began her career with small roles in television dramas and was discovered by the BBC through an advert she placed in the Spotlight agency catalogue.
