Jason MacDonald Biography
Jason Anthony MacDonald is a Canadian former mixed martial artist who competed professionally from 1999 to 2013. He is known for his grappling skills, with 19 of his 25 career wins coming by way of submission. MacDonald fought in the UFC on two separate occasions, as well as for promotions such as King of the Cage and the Maximum Fighting Championship. Prior to his UFC debut in 2006, he had already built an impressive record, with wins over UFC veterans Joe Doerksen, Gideon Ray, and Bill Mahood in local Canadian promotions. Throughout his career, MacDonald showcased his submission prowess, securing victories via triangle choke and modified guillotine choke, earning him Submission of the Night honors.
