Jason McLaughlin
Jason McLaughlin (born April 14, 1982) is an American soccer player. He was born in Provo, Utah, and grew up in Wetumpka, Alabama. McLaughlin attended the University of Alabama at Birmingham where he played on the men's soccer team from 2000 to 2005. During his college career, he scored 15 goals and assisted on 13 others. McLaughlin captained the Blazers in his junior season and led them to a third-place finish in the Conference USA tournament. He received numerous accolades, including a NSCAA All-South Region third-team selection and All-C-USA second-team honors. McLaughlin signed his first professional contract in 2006 with the Atlanta Silverbacks of the USL First Division.
