Jason Pohl

Jason Pohl (born July 1, 1981) is a chopper designer who works at Orange County Choppers, which gained fame as the subject of the American TV series American Chopper. Pohl initially planned to join the U.S. Marine Corps but instead attended the Illinois Institute of Art on the August Holland Scholarship, earning a bachelor's degree in Fine Arts. He began his career at Incredible Technologies as an Artist/Animator of video games, working on a digital pinball prototype licensed by OCC. Impressed by his work, Paul Teutul Sr. invited Pohl to join Orange County Choppers as Senior Designer in 2004. Pohl finds the most challenging part of his job to be transforming two-dimensional concepts into stunning three-dimensional chopper designs.
