Jason Schmidt

Jason Schmidt is an American former Major League Baseball pitcher. Born on January 29, 1973, in the United States, Schmidt played for several teams throughout his career, including the Los Angeles Dodgers, San Francisco Giants, Pittsburgh Pirates, and Atlanta Braves. He was drafted by the Braves in the eighth round of the 1991 MLB Draft. Schmidt attended Kelso High School in Kelso, Washington, where he excelled in baseball, football, and basketball. He was named Washington's Gatorade State Player of the Year and All-State MVP in baseball during his senior year. Schmidt made his professional debut with the Gulf Coast Braves in 1991 and had a successful career in Major League Baseball.
