    Jason Anthony Stevens (born 8 January 1973) is an Australian former professional rugby league footballer, writer, screenwriter, and actor. He played in the 1990s and 2000s for the St. George Dragons and Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks in Sydney. Stevens represented Australia and New South Wales State of Origin. After retiring from rugby league in 2005, he became a rugby league writer. Born in Sydney, Australia, Stevens has Greek heritage from his father's side. He began playing rugby league for Marist College Kogarah and the Brighton Seagulls. Stevens was signed by the St. George Dragons on a scholarship and played for their Matthews Cup team while still in school in 1991.
