Jay Davis

Jay Davis (born October 3, 1970) is a former professional baseball player from Chicago, Illinois. He played as an outfielder for the Hanwha Eagles of the Korea Baseball Organization (KBO) for seven seasons. Davis holds several records as a foreign-born player in the KBO League, including the highest batting average (minimum 2,000 at-bats), most runs scored, most hits, most runs batted in, and most stolen bases. He was selected by the New York Mets as the 318th overall pick in the 1989 June Amateur Draft but never made it to the Major Leagues during his ten-year career in the minor leagues. In 1999, Davis joined the Hanwha Eagles and played a pivotal role in their championship-winning season.
