Jayli Wolf

Jayli Wolf is a Canadian singer-songwriter, actress, and filmmaker. She gained recognition as part of the music duo Once A Tree before launching her successful solo career. Wolf's single and music video 'Child of the Government' received critical acclaim, ranking in CBC Music's top 10 Canadian songs of 2021 and winning Best Music Video at the Venice Short Film Awards. Her debut solo EP Wild Whisper earned her a nomination for Contemporary Indigenous Artist of the Year at the Juno Awards of 2022. Wolf also showcased her acting skills in the film 'Run Woman Run' (2021), earning a Best Supporting Actress nomination at the American Indian Film Festival. Born in Creston, British Columbia, Wolf grew up in a trailer and discovered her First Nations heritage at the age of eight.
