Jeanette Nolan (December 30, 1911 – June 5, 1998) was an American actress known for her roles in both television series and films. She began her acting career at the Pasadena Playhouse and made her radio debut in 1932. Nolan appeared in several radio series, including Young Doctor Malone, Cavalcade of America, Nicolette Moore in One Man's Family, and The Great Gildersleeve. In 1948, she made her film debut as Lady Macbeth in Orson Welles' adaptation of Macbeth. Despite initial negative reviews, Nolan's film career thrived and she went on to have roles in various films. She also had notable roles in television series such as The Virginian and Dirty Sally. Throughout her career, she received four Emmy Award nominations. Nolan continued acting into the 1990s.
