Jeanne Taylor (December 1, 1912 – December 2, 1992) was an American regionalist style painter and graphic designer from Saint Paul, Minnesota. Born on December 1, 1912, in Saint Paul, Minnesota, Taylor attended the University of Minnesota, the St. Paul School of Art, and the Art Students League of New York. She became a leader of the Regionalist movement in Minnesota, creating comforting depictions of the local heartlands during the Great Depression. Her artwork can be seen in the Minnesota Historical Center and has been exhibited at various prestigious institutions, including the Minneapolis Institute of Arts and the Corcoran Gallery of Art. In addition to her painting career, Taylor worked as a supervisor for the Index of American Design during the Works Progress Administration (WPA) and was a member of the Minnesota WPA Federal Art Project. She received an honorable mention for her landscape painting at the Minnesota State Fair in 1937. Taylor later relocated to Ceylon for work.
