Jeff Alexander (born Myer Goodhue Alexander; July 2, 1910 – December 23, 1989) was an American conductor, arranger, and composer known for his work in film, radio, and television. Born in Seattle, Washington, Alexander started his career in vaudeville as a singer and dancer before transitioning to playing piano and composing big band music. In the late 1930s, he moved to New York City, where he arranged and composed music for various radio programs, including Benny Goodman's Camel Caravan. He later directed the orchestra and chorus for several shows, such as The Star Theater and Great Moments in Music. In 1947, Alexander relocated to Los Angeles and began writing scores for films and television shows.
