Jeff Kahn

Jeff Kahn is a mathematician and professor of mathematics at Rutgers University. He received his Ph.D. from Ohio State University in 1979 under the guidance of Dijen K. Ray-Chaudhuri. Kahn is well-known for his contributions to combinatorics, including his work on ovoidal Möbius planes and the disproving of Borsuk's conjecture alongside Gil Kalai in 1993. He has received several honors throughout his career, such as the Pólya Prize in 1996 and the Fulkerson Prize in 2012. Kahn was also invited to speak at the 1994 International Congress of Mathematicians in Zurich. In 2012, he became a fellow of the American Mathematical Society.
