Jeff Ridgway
Jeffrey Allen Ridgway (born August 17, 1980) is a former professional baseball player. He played as a pitcher in Major League Baseball, making his debut with the Tampa Bay Devil Rays on September 17. In 2007, Ridgway had a season ERA of 189.00, the highest in MLB history, tying with Joe Cleary and Jack Scheible. Ridgway was traded to the Atlanta Braves in 2008 and made his debut for them on June 11, pitching 2 scoreless innings. He was released by the Braves on March 30. In 2009, Ridgway signed a Minor League contract with the Washington Nationals, but did not play any games in their farm system.
