Jeffrey Moran Biography
Jeffrey W. Moran (born December 23, 1946) is an American Republican politician who served in the New Jersey General Assembly from 1986 to 2003, representing the 9th Legislative District. Moran was born and raised in Winfield Township, New Jersey, and graduated from Rahway High School in 1970. He received a B.A. in English from Alma White College and an M.A. in Administration from Kean College. Prior to his political career, Moran served as a Quartermaster in the United States Coast Guard and held various positions in local government, including the Beachwood Borough Council and the Ocean County Utilities Authority. In addition to his political work, he also served as Assistant Superintendent in the Toms River Regional Schools from 1999 to 2001.
