    Jeffrey Omura (born April 23, 1985) is an American actor, politician, and labour organizer. He was born in Lansing, Michigan, and raised in Okemos, Michigan. Omura is the third child of Linda Omura and Glenn Omura. Linda is the founder and owner of Cherry Tree Catering, and Glenn is a professor and Dean at Michigan State University. Omura is of Japanese descent through his father, who was born in Hawaii and raised in Los Angeles and Falls Church. He graduated from Carnegie Mellon University in 2007. Omura's notable work includes being cast in The Public Theater's Shakespeare in the Park production of Romeo and Juliet in 2007, directed by Michael Greif.
