Jennifer Alexander Biography
Jennifer Carrie Alexander (August 15, 1972 – December 2, 2007) was a Canadian ballet dancer. Born in Calgary, Alberta, she studied at the Alberta Ballet Company and the Royal Winnipeg Ballet. Alexander appeared in the Broadway productions of The Red Shoes and Carousel in the early 1990s. She joined the corps de ballet of the American Ballet Theatre in 1994. Alexander was married to fellow ABT dancer Julio Bragado-Young. Tragically, she lost her life in a multiple-vehicle collision in New Jersey in 2007. She is remembered as a talented and dedicated ballet dancer.
