Jennifer Echols

Jennifer Echols is an American writer of romantic fiction for young adults. She began her career as a newspaper editor and college teacher before becoming a full-time writer. Echols is known for her ability to seamlessly switch between light romantic comedies and more intense dramas in her novels. Her debut novel, Major Crush, drew on her personal experience as the first female drum major of her high school marching band. Echols has received recognition for her work, including winning the National Reader's Choice Award for Major Crush and being nominated for various other awards, such as the RITA and the Goodreads Choice Award. She currently resides in Alabama with her husband and son.
