Jennifer Hill

Jennifer Lynn Hill is an American statistician specializing in causal inference with applications to social statistics. She is currently a professor of applied statistics at New York University in the Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development. Hill earned her bachelor's degree in economics from Swarthmore College in 1991, followed by a master's degree in statistics from Rutgers University in 1995. She completed her Ph.D. in statistics at Harvard University in 2000, with her dissertation titled 'Applications of Innovative Statistical Methodology for the Social Sciences.' Prior to joining NYU, Hill served as an assistant professor at Columbia University School of International and Public Affairs. She is renowned for her contributions to statistical research in the field of social sciences.
