Jennifer Ho is an American government official and advocate for homelessness. She served as the Senior Advisor for Housing and Services at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development under President Barack Obama. During her tenure, she played a crucial role in the creation of Opening Doors, the country's first federal plan to end homelessness. Jennifer has a strong background in fighting homelessness, having served as the executive director of Hearth Connection, a nonprofit project in Minnesota, from 1999 to 2010. She was also the deputy director at the United States Interagency Council on Homelessness. Currently, she has been nominated to serve as the director of the Minnesota Housing Finance Agency by Governor-elect Tim Walz. Jennifer was born and raised in Minnesota and holds a bachelor's degree in philosophy from Bryn Mawr College.
