Jennifer Hyman

Jennifer Hyman is an American businesswoman and entrepreneur. She is the CEO and co-founder of Rent the Runway, a company that specializes in the rental of high-end clothing and accessories. Born and raised in New Rochelle, New York, Hyman attended New Rochelle High School before earning her BA in social sciences from Harvard University in 2002. She later pursued her MBA at Harvard Business School, where she met her business partner Jennifer Fleiss. In 2008, Hyman came up with the idea for Rent the Runway, after witnessing her sister's struggle to find a dress for a wedding. Hyman co-founded the company in 2009 and played a crucial role in its success, including taking it public as one of the few women to do so.
