Jennifer Kirk
Jennifer Anne Kirk, born on August 15, 1984, is an American former competitive figure skater. Hailing from Newton, Massachusetts, Kirk began training in figure skating at the age of 10 under coaches Evy and Mary Scotvold at the Skating Club of Boston. Prior to her skating career, she was a gymnast and studied ballet, even performing with the Boston Ballet. Kirk gained recognition as a rising star through appearances on PBS shows Zoom and Arthur. She earned the title of 2000 World Junior champion and 2002 Four Continents champion. Unfortunately, a hip injury forced her to withdraw from the 2002 World Championships. Kirk later trained under Richard Callaghan in Detroit.
