    Jennifer June Rowe (born 4 April 1948) is an Australian author known for her crime fiction for adults published under her own name and children's fiction published under the pseudonyms Emily Rodda and Mary-Anne Dickinson. She is renowned for her children's fantasy series including Deltora Quest, Rowan of Rin, Fairy Realm, Teen Power Inc., the Rondo trilogy, The Three Doors trilogy, and her latest work, His Name Was Walter. Rowe's crime fiction includes the Verity Birdwood and Tessa Vance series. Born in Sydney, New South Wales, Rowe attended Abbotsleigh School for Girls and obtained a Masters of Arts in English Literature from the University of Sydney in 1973.
