Jeremy Kemp (3 February 1935 - 19 July 2019) was an English actor known for his notable roles in various film and television productions. Born in Chesterfield, Derbyshire, Kemp studied acting at the Central School of Speech and Drama. He began his career by winning the Carlton Hobbs Bursary and joining the Radio Drama Company in 1958. Kemp gained recognition for his role as PC Bob Steele in the TV series Z-Cars. He also appeared in popular shows like Colditz and Space: 1999. Kemp's film credits include The Blue Max, where he delivered a memorable performance. He is particularly remembered for his significant roles in the miniseries The Winds of War and War and Remembrance. Jeremy Kemp passed away on 19 July 2019.
