Jerry Trainor is an American actor and musician, born on January 21, 1977, in San Diego, California. He gained recognition for his portrayal of Spencer Shay in the teen sitcom iCarly, which earned him three Kids' Choice Awards. Trainor reprised the role in the show's revival series. He also appeared as 'Crazy' Steve in Drake & Josh and as Dudley Puppy in T.U.F.F. Puppy, receiving a Daytime Emmy Award nomination. Trainor has primarily worked on Nickelodeon, but he has also had recurring and guest roles on shows like Crossing Jordan and 2 Broke Girls. Outside of acting, Trainor is of Irish descent and grew up in Scripps Ranch, San Diego.
