Jessica Betts (born June 19, 1982) is an American singer and actress based in Los Angeles. She gained recognition by winning the singing competition television series, The Road to Stardom with Missy Elliott, in 2005. Betts was also chosen as a BET Music Matters artist in 2011, showcasing her talent and potential as a rising star. She has released two albums, 'You Can't Resist' (2011) and 'Jessie Pearl' (2008), and her song 'Get Up' was featured on the soundtrack of the film Big Momma's House. Betts transitioned into acting and appeared in the role of Nadege on an episode of the TV show Claws in 2018. In 2020, she premiered the music video for her song 'Catch Me' on Good Morning America, starring her wife, actress Niecy Nash.
