Jessica Rush is an American actress and singer, born on December 23, 1980, in Beaumont, Texas. She comes from a family of performers, with her parents Ken and Sara Rush also being in the industry. Jessica made her stage debut at just ten weeks old, acting alongside her father in Fiddler on the Roof. As a teenager, her family moved to Orlando, Florida, where she began working for Disney and Nickelodeon, both on camera and in the parks. Some of her notable roles include portraying Belle in Disney World's Beauty and the Beast production and playing the title role in Cinderella opposite Eartha Kitt. Rush has also appeared as Sophie in the first U.S. national tour of Mamma Mia! and Martha Cratchit in the national tour of A Christmas Carol. In 2014, she won the Joseph Jefferson Award for her performance in Gypsy at the Chicago Shakespeare Theater.
