Jim Bentley

James Graham Bentley, born on June 11, 1976, is an English professional football manager and former player. He played as a centre back during his career. Bentley debuted for Telford United in 1997 and later moved to Morecambe in 2002. In June 2010, he became a player-coach and eventually was appointed as the player-manager of Morecambe in May 2011. Since then, Bentley has focused solely on his managerial role and has not played competitively. He signed contract extensions with Morecambe in 2013, 2015, and 2017. Currently, Bentley serves as the manager of National League North club Southport.
