Jim Vance

Jim Vance (January 10, 1942 – July 22, 2017) was an American television news presenter known for his work in Washington, D.C. Born on January 10, 1942, in Ardmore, Pennsylvania, Vance grew up in a suburb west of Philadelphia. After earning a Bachelor of Science degree in secondary education from Cheyney University, he embarked on a career in broadcasting. Vance joined WRC-TV in 1969 and became a prominent figure in the news industry, delivering the news to viewers for over four decades. He was known for his distinctive voice and authoritative style.
