Jimmy Bone
James Bone, born on September 22, 1949, is a Scottish former professional footballer who played as a striker. He began his professional career with Partick Thistle in 1968 and spent four seasons with the team. Bone helped Partick Thistle win the Second Division title and secure promotion back to the top flight during the 1970-71 season. In 1971-72, he won the Scottish League Cup with Partick Thistle by defeating the favorites, Celtic. After his playing career, Bone transitioned into coaching and has managed several Scottish League clubs. Despite attending Stirling High School, known for rugby union, Bone developed a strong passion for football through his local boys brigade representative games.
