Jonathan Clay 'JJ' Redick, born June 24, 1984, is an American former professional basketball player, podcaster, and sports analyst for ESPN. He gained recognition during his college basketball career with the Duke Blue Devils, known for his exceptional three-point and free-throw shooting. Redick holds multiple records, including the all-time leading scorer for Duke, as well as several NCAA and ACC records. In the NBA, he was selected 11th overall by the Orlando Magic in the 2006 NBA draft and played for the Magic, Milwaukee Bucks, Los Angeles Clippers, and Philadelphia 76ers during his career. Redick retired from professional basketball and transitioned into media and analysis.
