Joachim Splichal
Joachim Splichal is a celebrity chef based in Los Angeles, California. He gained recognition in 1991 when he was named 'Best California Chef' by the James Beard Foundation. Four years later, he was inducted into their 'Who's Who of Food & Beverage in America'. Splichal is renowned for his fine dining restaurant Patina, located in the Walt Disney Concert Hall, as well as his chain of Pinot restaurants and the Patina Restaurant Group. Born and raised in Spaichingen, Germany, Splichal began his career in the hotel industry, working at prestigious hotels in various countries. He then moved to France to pursue culinary training and worked under the mentorship of Jacques Maximin at the Chantecler restaurant in the Hotel Negresco in Nice.
