She gained fame as the frontwoman of her band Joan Jett and the Blackhearts and as a founding member of the Runaways. Known for hits like 'Cherry Bomb', 'I Love Rock 'n Roll', and 'Bad Reputation', Jett has a mezzo-soprano vocal range. She has achieved platinum or gold certifications for three albums.
