Joe Fidler

Joe Fidler was an English professional football left back who played in the Football League for Woolwich Arsenal and Sheffield United. He joined Sheffield United from South Street New Connexion and played in the First Division for two seasons. Fidler then moved on to Fulham and Queens Park Rangers, spending six years at QPR. In February 1913, he joined Woolwich Arsenal and played 13 games as the club were relegated to the Second Division. Fidler later played for Port Vale in the Central League. He enlisted in the 17th (Service) Battalion of the Duke of Wellington's (West Riding Regiment) in January 1915.
