Joe Hernandez-Kolski Biography
Joe Hernandez-Kolski is an American actor, spoken word poet, comedian, and hip-hop theater artist. He gained recognition through his appearances on the fourth and sixth seasons of HBO's Def Poetry Jam. Born in Chicago, Joe began his acting career as a child, working with Chicago Actors Ensemble and Profiles Performance Ensemble. He later graduated from Whitney M. Young Magnet High School and earned a degree in history from Princeton University. After moving to Los Angeles, he continued to act in theatrical productions, including the Zoo District production of The Master and Margarita. Hernandez-Kolski also became prominent in the spoken word poetry scene.
