Joseph Francis Schilling, born on January 13, 1984, is an American professional Muay Thai kickboxer and mixed martial artist. He gained recognition for his use of elbows to cut opponents and earned the nickname 'Stitch 'em Up'. Schilling began his professional fighting career in 2006 and became a two-time national titlist. In 2011, he defeated Kaoklai Kaennorsing to become the WBC Muay Thai Interim World Light Heavyweight Champion. Schilling's profile rose further when he engaged in a controversial rivalry with Simon Marcus. He has competed in both the Middleweight division for Bellator MMA and Bellator Kickboxing. As of November 1, 2018, he is ranked as the #7 middleweight kickboxer in the world by Combat Press. Despite facing challenges, Schilling remains a prominent figure in the fighting world.
