    Joey Castillo Biography
    Joseph William Castillo (born March 30, 1966) is an American musician. He is best known as the former drummer of the hard rock band Queens of the Stone Age from 2002 to 2012. Castillo has also been a member of other bands including Circle Jerks, The Bronx, DOOM Regulator, and Zakk Sabbath. He has played with bands such as Danzig, Wasted Youth, California Breed, Zilch, and Scott Weiland and the Wildabouts. Castillo recorded three albums with Danzig and contributed to Queens of the Stone Age albums such as Songs for the Deaf, Lullabies to Paralyze, Era Vulgaris, and ...Like Clockwork before being fired by founding member Josh Homme. He has since pursued various musical projects and continues to tour.
