John Sloman
John Sloman is a Welsh singer and musician, born on 26 April 1957. He gained recognition as the lead vocalist for the Welsh band Lone Star from 1977 to 1978. During this time, he recorded their second album, 'Firing on All Six,' and performed at the Reading Festival in August 1977. Sloman also briefly collaborated with hard rock band UFO in 1980 and Irish guitarist Gary Moore's band. From 1979 to 1981, he was the lead vocalist for classic rockers Uriah Heep. Sloman's notable performances include a BBC broadcast with Lone Star in 1977, which was later released as part of BBC Radio One Live in Concert.
