Johnathan Nieves

Johnathan Nieves is an American actor born on June 1, 1997, in Chicago, Illinois. He gained recognition for his portrayal of Mateo Vega in the 2020 series Penny Dreadful: City of Angels. Nieves also starred as Richie Valdovinos in the upcoming musical TV series Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies set to release in 2023. He began his acting career with appearances in popular shows such as Chicago Fire and Shameless in 2015 and 2016, respectively. Nieves has also showcased his talent in New Amsterdam and Better Call Saul. In 2019, he starred in the sci-fi film See You Yesterday alongside Michael J. Fox. Nieves continues to make a mark in the industry with his versatile performances.
