Jonathan Buckley

Jonathan Buckley (born 1 January 1992) is a Democratic Unionist Party (DUP) politician and Member of the Northern Ireland Assembly (MLA) for Upper Bann since 2017. He grew up outside Portadown and continues to reside there. Buckley succeeded Sydney Anderson as the MLA for Upper Bann and became the youngest elected representative for the DUP. In October 2021, he voted against 'safe zones' outside abortion clinics, expressing his view that the move was regressive. In May 2022, Buckley was surprised to learn that he had been nominated for an MBE for his political and public service. Aside from politics, his involvement in movies and TV shows is not known.
