Jonathan Rose

Jonathan Rose (born July 19, 1993) is an American professional gridiron football defensive back. He most recently played for the Edmonton Elks of the Canadian Football League (CFL). Rose began his college football career at Auburn and later transferred to Nebraska. He played for Auburn as a freshman in 2011 before being dismissed from the team. In August 2012, he signed with Nebraska and played for them from 2013 to 2015. Rose joined the Ottawa Redblacks in 2016 and started 14 games, earning a 2016 East Division All-Star title. He has since played for various CFL teams and is currently a free agent.
