Jonathan Stewart Biography
Jonathan Creon Stewart (born March 21, 1987) is an American former professional football player who played as a running back in the National Football League (NFL). He was selected by the Carolina Panthers in the first round (13th overall) of the 2008 NFL Draft after playing college football for the Oregon Ducks. Stewart enjoyed a successful career, spending 10 seasons with the Panthers, making the 2016 Pro Bowl. He then spent one season with the New York Giants before retiring as a Panther in 2019. Stewart holds the record as the career leading rusher in Washington prep football history, having rushed for 7,755 yards and scored 105 touchdowns during his high school career.
