Jordan Dawson (born 9 April 1997) is a professional Australian rules footballer who currently serves as the captain of the Adelaide Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). He began his career with the Sydney Swans in 2016 and played with them until 2021. Dawson's impressive performances in 2020 helped the Swans during a challenging period. Born in Kingston SE, South Australia, he moved to Adelaide during his youth and attended Scotch College. In February 2023, Dawson was appointed captain of the Adelaide Football Club. Known for his skills on the field, Dawson's decision to join his home state team garnered attention and speculation.
