Joseph Rosenberg
Joseph H. Rosenberg (1881-1971) was an influential bank executive known for his role in financing the early Hollywood movie industry. Born in Hungary, he immigrated to the US at the age of six and later studied engineering at Case School of Applied Science and graduated from Yale University in 1903. After attempting a career in mining and working on a Mexican railroad construction project, Rosenberg found his calling in banking. He went on to have a 61-year career in the industry, serving as an executive at Bank of America and Lehman Brothers. Rosenberg's contributions to the film industry helped shape its early development.
