Josh George

Joshua George, born on March 18, 1984, is a Paralympian athlete from the United States. He competes in category T53 events, which include sprints and the marathon. In the 2004 Summer Paralympics, George participated in seven events and won bronze medals in the 100 and 400 metre races. He also competed in the 2008 Summer Paralympics in Beijing, China, where he won a gold medal in the men's 100 metres - T53 event and a silver medal in the men's 800 metres - T53 event. In addition to his athletic achievements, George has served as a SportsUnited Sports Envoy for the U.S. Department of State, conducting clinics, speeches, and other events to inspire and empower youth.
