Juan Carlos Heredia

Juan Carlos Heredia Araya, born on May 1, 1952 in Córdoba, is a former football forward. He was born in Argentina and represented the Spain national team. Heredia began his football career with local team Universitario de Córdoba and made his professional debut in 1970 for Belgrano. He won the Liga Cordobesa title with Belgrano and scored the winning goal in the final against Talleres. Heredia's performances caught the attention of Rosario Central, who signed him in 1972. However, he only stayed for four months before being transferred to Spanish club Barcelona on loan.
