Juana Acosta

Juana Acosta Restrepo is a Colombian-Spanish actress who was born on 28 November 1976 in Cali, Valle del Cauca. With over 40 film appearances, Acosta has established herself as a prominent figure in the industry. She began her acting career with a role in the Colombian telenovela Mascarada and made her film debut in the 1998 movie Time Out. In 2000, she relocated to Spain and made her Spanish television debut in Policías, en el corazón de la calle. Acosta shares a daughter with her former partner, the actor Ernesto Alterio. Her exceptional performance in the 2020 film One Careful Owner earned her a nomination for the Goya Award for Best Supporting Actress.
