Julia Kern

Julia Kern is an American cross-country skier born on September 12, 1997, in Berkeley, California. She grew up in Waltham, Massachusetts, and has been involved in the sport since a young age. Kern has represented the United States in multiple Junior World Championships, achieving a 9th place in the sprint classic event at the 2017 Junior World Championships. She also won a bronze medal as part of the American relay team. Kern made her debut in the World Cup during the 2016-17 season and has since competed in various international events, including the 2019 World Championships in Seefeld, Austria. Notably, she achieved her first World Cup podium finish in 2019 and won bronze in the team sprint at the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships 2023 alongside Jessie Diggins.
